Software developer Fontis have released an update/security patch to their WYSIWYG extension for Magento

Their extension gives users the option to enable a javascript based WYSIWYG editor to admin pages within Magento, such as TinyMCE and FCKeditor.

Their module can be downloaded via MagentoConnect.

If you are currently using this module, it is suggested that you upgrade to the new version immediately to apply the latest security patch.

If you are not already using this module, why not give it a try? We all love WYSIWYG editors, afterall, they make life so much easier when editing pages, especially in Magento.

We all know how much “fun” editing anything in Magento is without them! ;)

TinyMCE is quite a fantastic WYSIWYG editor that is widely used in the hosting industry. We actually use it within software such as WHMCS already, so it comes with our blessing!

More information on their module can be found here: http://www.fontis.com.au/magento/extension/wysiwyg-editor
