Parallels has proudly announced the release and launch of their beta program for Parallels Panel 10 SMB Edition.
According to Parallels, Parallels Panel 10 SMB Edition is set to be the simplest, yet most effective and powerful hosting control panel for service providers in todays industry.
Given what we already know, the Parallels Panel Suite is already quite a powerful system, giving users an enormous amount of control over their hosting environment.
Parallels are already one of the biggest and leading producers of hosting automation and control panel solutions within today’s market and this addition to their arsenal of software simply enforces that fact!
Parallels Panel 10 SMB Edition is going to improve on control by giving users more depth and ability to manage their own IT services with little or no knowledge of servers.
Parallels Panel 10 has also been set to include the ability to offer SaaS (software-as-a-service), giving more power to providers who utilise this forever growing market.
Given that Parallels have released this edition as a current BETA, of course, we’re not yet going to throw this into a production environment, however, we are going to setup a testing server for this BETA, giving you the chance to see, test and trial this BETA within a live operating environment.
We intend for the trial environment to be of a Windows Server 2008 environement including IIS 7, so you will gain the best of both worlds by testing this new release of their software.
Once we have completed the setup of this BETA server, we will be offering limited users a chance to trial this new edition of Parallels Panel. These users will be selected on a first-come-first-served basis, so if you are interested, please express your interest in the comments area of this blog post.
The trial service will be offered FREE until such time as Parallels complete the BETA of this new edition of their software and we will be setting up a dedicated bug reporting queue for customers who are assisting with this BETA to report their issues back to us.
You can read more information regarding Parallels Panel 10 SMB Edition on Parallels website here: http://www.parallels.com/products/panelsmb/
As mentioned above, if you wish to be one of the lucky people selected to assist us with this BETA, simply leave your details in the comments field and you will be contacted once the BETA is live and online.
Of course, we will be announcing the BETA’s status here as well, but get in now to avoid disappointment once we commence trials.
